Very moving. It's an incredibly life affirming song, despite its apparently dire subject. I can really identify with this one. I held my father's hand for 7 days as he lay dying and then just before dawn on the 8th day, I slipped out to the toilet and he slipped away while I was out. One of the nurses told me this was a regular occurrence at the hospice where he died. "They know you are out and don't want you to witness their last moments" - she added.@schnowd - 2023-02-03
